The backordered Panasonic slider potentiometers finally arrived yesterday. I had already populated 10 of the circuit boards when the other parts came in before Christmas. Mounting and soldering the pots didn't take long, and all of the boards worked on the first try, after I got the power connection sorted out. It turns out that the power jack I was using for the test connection has a slightly smaller centre pin than the plug on the wall warts I ordered. The jack I plan to use on the actual lamps is the correct one though.
I have 3 lamps almost ready for final assembly. I just have to finish one router jig, the one that will allow me to accurately cut the slots for the potentiometer sliders. I held off on that one so I could have a finished controller to test it against. I'll take care of that on Wednesday. The lamps should be done next weekend, and will be posted on Kaanjo.com.
